People who live in Fairfield County have a lot of privileges: convenient access to New York City, fresh air, ocean breeze and wonderful, delicious food at numerous amazing restaurants. Below are the top waterfront restaurants in Fairfield County that we most enjoy!

L'ESCALE (Greenwich)

The iconic, L’Escale restaurant and bar - the “port of call” for seasonal Mediterranean cuisine - is designed to transport the ambiance of Provence to the Gold Coast of Connecticut. Located at Delamar Greenwich Harbor Hotel, the restaurant’s intimate decor, along with its covered waterfront terrace and exquisitely designed menu by award winning Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer will deliver the Côte d’Azur right to your table. For dinner we recommend ordering Georgette’s Salad, Bouillabaisse Provencale and a bottle of Chardonnay, Deux Montille, Volnay, Bourgone, FR 2012. For dessert we recommend their delicious vanilla crème brulee.

PRIME (Stamford)

Opened in the summer of 2016, Prime – An American Kitchen and Bar is almost a mirror image of it’s sister restaurant that resides across the Long Island Sound in Huntington, New York. The latest trends in cuisine and design come together at Prime to present the most insatiable and fashionable of diners with a first choice-dining destination whatever their mood.  For dinner we recommend their butter poached lobster and to pair it with bottle of Pinot Grigio, Gabriella Veneto from Italy.

THE RESTAURANT AT ROWAYTON SEAFOOD (Rowayton)

The seafood dishes from this chic restaurant are sourced from the fish market next door and offers awesome river & marina views. It boasts the best waterfront location in the area and is deeply rooted in the history of Rowayton. For dinner we recommend their Sautéed Sea Scallops and for desert we recommend their Key Lime Pie.

THE PEARL (Westport)

Located in the heart of Westport’s vibrant Longshore Club Park, the Pearl family is ready to serve you fresh, seasonal and sophisticated American cuisine. It is a balance of modern, inventive flavors including small plates, an extensive raw bar, salads, freshly caught fish, grass fed meat, handmade pastas, thin-crust pizzas and selections for gluten-free and vegan guests. For dinner we recommend their Compo Beach Bouillabaisse. We recommend for desert Everyday Is Your Birthday Cake.

RIVE BISTRO (Westport)

Like the legendary bistros of Paris, Rive is warm, and convivial, a true bistro populaire. The dining room, with a wrap-around wall of windows overlooks a bend in the river; there is a fireplace for winter, and in warm weather there is an outdoor patio that feels like a cafe on the Seine. For dinner we recommend Cassoulet de Toulouse and Seared Artichoke Hearts.
