New Haven County sits at the center of the state, stretching from the Long Island Sound up towards Hartford and has some of the best offerings in the entire state. In Q1 2022 the average sold price in New Haven County was $367,145 and a year later it was $366,514 - essentially even. But the median sales price actually increased 1.6% to $310,000. On top of that, there was a staggering 20% decrease in quantity of homes sold, further pointing to a continuing sellers' market.
